"It might be time to go get a j.o.b."

Hey,

Over the past few months, several consultants have
quietly emailed me and confessed that they had to go
back into the workforce as a employee.

And you know what?

Every single one of them thought it through carefully,
did a self-assessment and got hired in a niche where
they were previously failing to get clients.

And after a few short months, many of them are already
figuring out exactly what they were doing wrong and it's
been eye-opening to say the least.

Some of them have even discovered lucrative
opportunities that they never would've had access
to through any other method.

More importantly, instead of looking at it as a bad thing,
they chose to consider it market research.

I tip my hat to them because they're making the tough
choice to take step back and approach their consulting
business from a different angle.

However, most of them also admitted to me that they
wished they had just focused on one thing at a time
until they got it up and running.

It might've meant focusing on one niche, one marketing
strategy, one service or simply one really good product
or course they purchased.

See, when they finally got some breathing room, they
were able to look at it objectively and see with 20/20 vision.

That's why I'm pleading with you now, before you're left
with tough choices, to narrow everything down in your business
to the one thing that you know works and scale it up.

Don't even think about doing anything else until you
have that one predictable and consistent flow of leads
that you can convert into paying clients.

Don't worry about the next big launch from your favorite
guru.

Don't worry about who just closed a million dollar
deal with a brand name company.

Just focus on the three or four things you can do on
a daily basis to get your marketing message in front of
your target market.

Maybe it's making 200 phone calls every morning.

Maybe it's mailing out ten salesletters every afternoon.

Maybe it's running a Linkedin profile viewer campaign for
a few hours a day.

Whatever you decide it is, just be sure to stay focused
on it until you conclude that it won't work or figure out a
way to make it work.

Then build on that.

    Fortunately we don't have to go out an get a J.O.B., but hope others listen to you because you know what you are talking bout.
