Hello,

I want to start offering web design service in my local city and here is a problem: We have a small market of companies I am aiming for - mainly high-ticket industries like roofers, dentists, medical clinics, etc. If I try to cold call one industry say roofers I am sure I can be done in one day with it because the list is so small. So, my question is: which is the optimal delay to call them the second time? And how do you generally approach sales in small markets?

Thanks.

It all depends on how the first sales call goes, if they have no interest at all, I'd wait several weeks, if they are interested but can't make up their mind, ask something like "can I check back with you next week?"

Why are you limiting your reach? Why only local?
