I have land, need ideas on what to do with it

I have a land at the bottom of a mountain, the temperature is high in the winter, about -10 Celsius.

The soil is not so mineral rich. The winter is long and the summer is short. In general on this kind of land people grow potatoes.

I was thinking of making a fish farm, to sell fish to the city I live in, the land is 100 KM away from the city. Or another option is to grow cranberries and sell the to the local market and other countries.

Another option is to grow mushrooms and sell them.

You could rent space to a billboard company if its near a main road. They'll set everything up, take care of it, and just send you rent payments.

In some parts of the world, you might be able to do a land lease with some company that's into retreats for getting back to nature types. In others, you'd do well to grow potatoes. Where is your land?

Grow ginseng, some exporters based in the US will pay hundreds of dollars per pound.

You might set up greenhouses to expand your growing options.

A company here in Colorado USA is doing very well with tomatoes.
Another person - on a smaller scale - is doing well with flowers and plants
    used for landscaping.

I agree with the others that you should grow something. You should find a few things you can grow. You should rotate the crops to help keep the ground good.

How much land do you have to work with?
How much equipment do you have?
How much capital do you have to work with?

See what there is a demand for in your local market.
    All the best. Regards.

Of course it depends upon market access, transportation and what can grow...
But, I know a guy who is doing well for himself with Chinese Palm Trees.
(I think that's what he called them.) Kind of a mini Palm Tree that can be used
for indoor and, in the right conditions, outdoor landscaping. Not many growers.
