Thanks for the link. Funny to see Jay doing crowd funding consulting now. That Daymond John interview was unexpected.

Jay's stuff is always great, but it's so high-level that it really needs to be chewed on a while.

    Hi there,

Wow....Some nice shares here - thank you.

I was just thinking. If you were to sit down and read all of Jay's materials start to finish, and listen to all the audios - how long would it take you?

He is a machine when it comes to turning out material.

    All the best,

    Sasha.

I'm on Jay's email list and his emails are always so interesting to read. Not sure if he writes them himself, but they always have a totally different tone than any other emails I get. He is the King of giving away great stuff though. I guess when you make the money he does, you can afford to give away content that most people would charge big bucks for.

Well, he's probably the Godfather of high-priced marketing seminars. His books and tapes cost hundreds back in the 80s and 90s. With inflation that means thousands and tens of thousands of dollars in product and seminars sold. And he did 'em so often that he burned out for a time.

His free stuff is good but it's a subtle pitch just like everything else.

Don't remember who first made the comparison for me, but if you consider Jay's material vs Dan Kennedy's you'll probably find a lot more immediately actionable and step-by-step material from Kennedy. I think many people get caught into Jay's use of language.

This depends on what kind of learner one is. Those who are "why" learners would rather not have someone make all of the connections for them. Once they understand the why they adapt the theory to their own situation.

Jay has some great stuff in there... more so for those of you who are in
or wanting to go the consultant route like I am. It's kinda funny, I bounce
between him and Grant Cardone. Combining the salesmanship tactics of
Grant and the business strategies of Jay, look out!
