One about making yourself a Guru

Today more than ever it's about being on platforms where the masses are.

If you aren't on them then you are playing a small game.

Platforms I'm referring to are Amazon Kindle, Amazon fulfillment,
Apple App Store, Apple ITunes Podcasts, Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google.

One platform which has gotten very little attention here is Podcasting
and how to make money out of it.

Here's how one person does it...

Enjoy!

If you get into podcasting, make sure to submit it to Stitcher after you get it on iTunes. Also consider adding a YouTube video of it as well--use your logo as the image running during the audio.

Marketing is not a battle of products. It is a battle of perceptions.

Yes, it's definitely about being on the different platforms... if you've got the team to handle it all. If you're a one man show, then focus on 1 or 2 things and master it... dominate it, then branch out adding one new medium at a time.

    Great stuff on podcasting!

      I guess you're asking me?

Well, I opened an account at Soundcloud and downloaded Audacity software. Both free. Then after writing a post on my blog, I read it, recording it on the software and uploaded it to soundcloud. From there I can embed it into my post.

So ideally what can happen is if someone wants to listen to my blog post rather than read the blog post they can do that. And, since soundcloud is searchable, people searching soundcloud for my genre can find me. Thirdly, it just adds a little extra panache to my blog posts I think.

      I call it my "blogcast."
