13 yrs of phone exp; my only problem is I have no clue what to sell!

Ive done everything on the phone from lead acquisitions, scripted telesales, customer service, tech support, consumer collections, business collections, inside sales, surveys, scheduling.....I have done EVERY SINGLE PHONE POSITION under the sun! And not only that I understand where each job fits within a company business model. Needless to say IM EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE ON THE PHONE!!!So at this point Im ready to start my own business using these skill sets. Aside from the phone skills I also have the ability to write KILLER scripts, create landing pages for leads, acquire leads through Facebook PPC campaigns, acquire leads via youtube commercials, etc.....so I am pretty much ready to take flight here. I would like to be able to either set up a situation where Im getting paid per completed application, per sale, or per lead. What is the best way to achieve this. Is there some sort of telemarketing CPA Network? Is there a method of networking with businesses to set up some sort of deal. In a nutshell I need a situation to put these skills into action.

If you are as good as you say I would try and negotiate a deal with someone who provides web design, SEO, web conversions, etc. services. If you indeed are as good as you say then I would not even deal with being paid hourly and try to negotiate something like a high commission or percentage of every sale you close.

    Just an idea.

You can help me sell web and marketing services. Company builds the sites and does the marketing - only job would be finding leads and closing deals.

      Commissions are 15% of $500-$8,000

And 100% of set up fee of $195/site.

And 15% of monthly marketing of $500-$2000.

      Say you sell a $1000 website with a $100 set up fee and $500 marketing each month. Make $250 + $75/month per site. Sell 20 sites/month = 5k/month + 1.5k reoccurring revenue each month.

So much of experience and skills...still doesn't know what to do? Are you crazy? I guess you need to match your liking with the product or service you want to sell. For example if you crazy about cars and related stuff like performance, air filters, racing etc. then you can consult some second hand car dealer and you can close such deals on commission basis. Choose a product/service which can result in big commissions.

The person who does the selling, makes the bulk of the money. There are numerous websites that sell wholesale online services. You just private label those services, mark them up 3 or 4 times...and get on the phone.

If you work out a deal with a supplier of internet services, you should be making the majority of the sale. At least 50%.

There are hundreds of services you can sell, from hundreds of companies. The technical part of actually performing the work...is the easiest part. Selling is the hard part. They need you, you don't need them.

I sell a $6,000 service. If I were interested in hiring you (which I'm not), I'd give you maybe 50% of each sale, and a bonus over a certain number of sales a month. But you shouldn't be getting paid by guys like me. You should be buying these services cheap, and re-branding...and reselling them yourself.

Any websites you'd like to share that offer more than just web design or SEO feel like that market is saturated

That market isn't saturated, any more than the shoe market is saturated.

Any company I can recommend? No. I don't buy and then resell services. But the companies are easy to find. Do the work. There are plenty of Fiverr sellers that do excellent work, and you can just sell their services. For example, a guy Crorkservice has an SEO package that he sells for $100 that you could easily sell for $1,000.

        Here's a link;
manually create 20 PR9 Backlinks from AUTHORITY, google youtube friendl

Any service you want to sell can be had cheaply on Fiverr (for more than $5, normally) and can be resold.

And this Forum is overflowing with guys that can do the work, but can't sell. There is even a section for that.

A phenomenon I see is that the techie guys are rarely sales guys. It's like it takes a different brain to do each job. My IT guy gets $25 an hour for doing the work (in house). But I'm charging (if figured hourly) a few hundred dollars an hour.

But it's because selling is the hard part, not the easy part.

Added later; I just remembered that I had a company www.WLMarketing.com that had wholesale services you could sell. Enjoy.

Sell what businesses or people are already buying.

The key to getting started is knowing who you do want to serve and what they are buying already in order to make money, to solve problems, avoid pain or feel good about themselves.
