Advice On Promoting Offline Business

Hey guys,

I'm about to start working for someone promoting an air conditioning maintenance and servicing company.

I'm not quite sure how to go about it as I've not really promoted a service like this before.

The company will be doing maintenance for large companies as well as smaller businesses, the thing is I'm not sure how to target these larger businesses, normally I'm promoting to individuals and in different markets like make money online etc.

Any advice / pointers you guys could give would help massively.

    News paper, radio. really depends on who you are targeting.

    These larger businesses, where do the decision makers live (i.e., spend time)?

    Find that out, then advertise there.

    Generally speaking, larger companies that have to do with HVAC are property management companies... Yes, some other types of people own and run buildings.... But a lot are run by building management companies.

    So, you can go after property management companies... Or, IREM : Institute of Real Estate Management certifies property managers in the States.

    NARPM® : National Association of Residential Property Managers is the national association of property management company owners.

    I'm betting all those people know one or two commercial real estate agent, commercial mortgage broker, commercial real estate attorney, an accountant or two, an insurance agent or two.

    Those who are not property managers by profession do something else... Maybe they're roofers. Maybe they're insurance agents. Maybe... Figure out a few of those and advertise where roofers live online and offline, where insurance agents live.
