Source for Local Phone Number With Whisper Feature

Can anyone recommend a good and affordable source for obtaining a local phone number with forwarding and 'whisper' features? I want to set up a local lead generation site encouraging people to call my client, but I need to be able to track how many leads are coming in and the client needs to know the call is coming from my web site.

I know this has been discussed before but using the Advanced Search feature of the WF I get no results on prior posts, so my apologies in advance.

I also did try the mighty Google but the results weren't what I was looking for (maybe I'm searching the wrong search phrase?)

Thanks for any suggestions/help you can provide!

      I've used Callfire in the past. I believe that Twilio would work too.

      What Ryan said! I've tried 2 or 3 services and Callfire was the best of the bunch by far. It's pretty seamless.

    Twilio FTW. Have used it for years, and if you are creative, you can rig up a whisper feature.
