Hi

These high networth people are not surfing warriors forum..i don't think so anyway.

How do you think it's best to try and get to talk to these people? Obviously about investments not some "get 5,000,000 fb likes in 2 hours"?

I presume they have private wealth investors that do all this for them?

To be honest, I wouldn't know how to go about contacting sports and movie stars in particular, but why would you specifically need to target them?

There are loads of high net worth people, whose information can be obtained.

Proof in this post about a huge insurance policy.

As you say, this COULD have been "blind luck" that he got a response out of 2,000 letters.

But it's all about how much that client is worth. He sent out 2000 letters, and even if it was an expensive campaign, and each letter cost him $2, that's still only a $4000 campaign.

Now, how much was this 1 relationship worth to him in the long term? Tens of thousands? Hundreds of thousands?

The point is, if he had to send out another 5,000 letters to get just 1 more similar client, with a campaign cost of $10,000 - It would still be worth it if such a client has a large lifetime value.

Not only that, but you'd have your "foot in the door", as these people are in wealthy circles. Imagine getting access to such a client's rolodex, with a big fat endorsement/testimonial from them, as you directmail/contact their wealthy peers.

Similar to Dan Kennedy's "Al the Plumber", who used semi-endorsed directmail.

So sorry I probably didn't help out much with your question about "famous" people: But perhaps those ideas on meeting wealthy people would be a good start.

But anyway, I'm sure other warriors will be able to help you out.

Honestly I think you are posting in the wrong section of the forums. Other then that I don't have any idea on how to help you.

I'm not 100% sure why you are targetting them here, but yes - most will have private advisors. I have a friend who was a minor rugby star (plays for the local pro team which is one of the top 20 or so in the UK). Rugby stars don't earn that much - top guys make maybe £250k ($400k or so), though obviously they come with other revenue streams (endorsements, speaking circuit, etc). He wasn't at that level and was earnig in the region of about £120k.

Even at that level they had advisors paid for by the team who helped them invest (property, business, etc), and many retained their own advisors.

I can't imagine what access you need these guys (and girls) for, but I would think there are plenty of other high net worth individuals who may be better targets, less guarded and who make their own financial decisions on a regular basis.
