Anybody in the business of buying and selling cell phones? (craigslist, locally, ebay)

Looking for some advice on how to determine the current value of cell phones.

    Ebay is a good way to figure out the value. It shows exactly what people are willing to pay, just check the completed listings. Many people come up with crazy prices on Craigslist, sometimes crazy good if you want to buy it and flip it, and sometimes crazy bad if they want way more than most people would be willing to pay. In this case you're obviously looking at more of a retail value. There are also buyers out there that will buy at wholesale prices if you're flipping, but in that case you need to buy in larger numbers and at really low prices to keep a profit. Some people find getting the cell phones really easy and just want to turn and burn through them fast and go with a wholesale buyer, and others will pick them up and maximize the money per phone, but with greater hassle, by then flipping them back onto sites like Ebay or Craigslist to resell.
