I built this site for myself. I didn't cut corners and I did things the right way "behind the scenes".

Now in English...FidoBot - Dogs Puppies and more uses my own professional search script and custom databases of content to deliver tons and tons of content. This content is generated on a site-wide basis.

In addition to creating a canine search engine, we mix this dynamic content with static html page elements. For these pages, we can open them and edit many elements on the pages individually. This lets us have out pages' content delivered automatically be the server, but gives us control over each and every page to do detailed SEO, linking, etc on a page by page basis.

Simply: Dynamic elements gives us content site wide and the static elements give us control. This is the most powerful type of pages there are. This lets the owner of www.Fidobot.com convert the dynamic database into "pages" that the search engines can, and do, index.

Are these "scraper" pages? The technology is similar. However, these pages are created from www.Fidobot.com's own unique databases and then tweaked by hand to give custom results. 1 I custom spidered tons of links, using my own SpiderBomb program, for tons of relevant keywords. I cleaned them up a bit "by hand", leaving 13,000+ entries. Spidering pages and indexing links is the exact same thing Google does to create content. Fidobot.com uses this same concept.

3 BRANDED WITH YOUR AFFILIATE ID: Collected 70 or so Clickbank links to dog products. These links will show up in the search results based on keywords. It's one simple text file "search and replace" to add your own CB ID.


4 BRANDED WITH YOUR AFFILIATE ID: Amazon.com results added in using RSS and our own custom software. - This means relevant Amazon products can be added to the search results. These will automatically update for you. The more popular topics will update about every three week. YOU ARE AT THE CONTROLS
You have access to the state of the art search admin where you have the ability to add or subtract "weight" for different resources. For example, you can increase the weight for Clickbank and Amazon results so www.Fidobot.com displays more commercial links higher in the rankings.

Or, you can give data files that contain links to high quality pages more weight, making the results geared more towards quality information sites. It's all up to you.

No Messy MYSQL Databases. Your Custom Databases Are Stored in Simple Text Files
This means the spidered, hand-picked and Clickbank links, plus any you add later, are all kept in plain, simple text files. A couple are kind of big, but all can be opened and modified in any text editor. Notepad will do, but I suggest something like Textpad or Notetab.

Just open them in your text editor and delete links you don't like, add/delete keywords (for relevancy), give "weight" and more.

Test and React
www.Fidobot.com is 95% complete. I've done all the hard, "grunt" work for you. But it still needs you to make it your own. I suggest you put the finishing touches on www.Fidobot.com, then spend 70% of your time marketing Fidobot. Get traffic before you make it perfect.

Once you get traffic check the keywords.txt file and see what people are really searching for, then build content and add more resources accordingly. The 80/20 rule can go a long way. See what people are actually viewing before wasting your time and effort. No need to try to make every search perfect.

If you love dogs and checking out dog sites, but hate to write, this is the perfect site for you. As you come across great, high-quality dog pages, blogs and video, add them to Fidobot.com. A few here and there and you'll have a collection of high quality data that can be used over and over.

Well Engineered for Fast and Easy Updates - Makes Being a Webmaster EASY
All "static" pages make use of "SSI" for common parts of the page. This means all pages read a file to get that part of the page.
In other words, if you want to add AdSense code to all your static pages, just open one single html file, add your code and upload to your site. Now, all your pages will update instantly, no matter if you have 100 or 10,000 pages.

I've added 5 SSI files to the pages, things like the footer, menu, top, bottom and sponsors. You can change these to make changes site wide, while the rest of the page is "static", so you can update those pages individually. Very powerful.

Hosting - You Have Two Options:
1. Leave it on my server and pay $12.95 a month for hosting. (I'll set up a Paypal Subscription for you). Note that these dynamic sites require more server resources that pure static sites. Once Fidobot.com becomes busy, you'll probably need to move it to a virtual server ($40 a month and up) or dedicated server. However, this is only if you get traffic.

2. Move the site to your hosting. I will move it to your host and install it for an additional $50.


Instant Page Maker Tech Built In
I suggest using the static/dynamic hybrid pages technique. But if you're in a hurry, you don't need to make any pages at all and your Fidobot.com SE software (Plus a custom .htaccess file) will create pages for you, on the fly.

All you need to do is create a URL using the following syntax and Fidobot.com will create the page for you, based on the keywords used in the URL in the link. Just create links like this, with hyphens separating keywords:

Go ahead, type in any URL into your browser and watch Fidobot.com create pages for you:

Not all URLs will produce great content, since the data is intended for a dog site. But as you get traffic, you can easily build content around popular keywords. Also, I've left out a bunch of keywords relating to dogs, so there still 1000s and 1000s of pages you can create.

If a site is in the content databases, it's because it was ranked well by a major SE, so your links are pointing to pages the engines already consider to be of quality, just what Google asks for from hub sites.
