I would get traffic to the funnel through FB ads, but will FB allow promotion of a giveaway product that has FB in its name? Can the funnel be promoted as a promoted post or only as a separate ad? |

Great questions. Regarding advertising a giveaway product referencing FB on FB. I have read FB's rules and regulations regarding advertisements here: Advertising Policies The rules state that you must not "imply a relationship" with Facebook which this product does not do. As well, your advertisement must make limited references to FB in general. So, you are able to use to product as a FB advertisement. But, do not imply relationship and do not overuse the word 'Facebook' in your ads. You could probably do something like, "Learn To Go Your List Using The Internet's Largest Ad Platform." ... anything along those lines would be great. And, I see no reason why the funnel could be used as either a promoted post or a separate ad. You would probably be well off to run both and see which converts better for you -- then throw more money into the higher converting one. Again: great questions. And, again, you can run FB ads for this funnel with no problem as long as you do not imply relationship or overuse the word 'Facebook.' That is easy enough to comply with. Let me know if you have any other questions! Cheers, Nate | |
