What About Revenue?

The site doesn't get any traffic and has no current revenue.

When I launched the site, I ran a little PPC advertising for it and got a few hundred hits. I made a few sales, but no huge results.

I have NOT tried any other advertising methods (SEO, affiliate programs, forum marketing, banners, etc). I soon got too busy to dedicate my time to this site; I own literally dozens of sites.

You could also package it up as a resell rights or PLR package.

There is definitely potential for this site; for example, I'm not very good with SEO or running affiliate programs. Someone talented with this (or even a PPC expert) could definitely get results.

I've spent $1,500.00+ on this project, so why am I selling it?

Beginning a few months after launching this site, I launched a series of very successful software products. Although I have several niche sites, I have focused on my software businesses since they make me a lot more money. I just don't have the time to work on this site and don't want it just gathering digital dust.

(However, I am NOT willing to get rid of this site for peanuts. Therefore, the reserve price is set fairly high.)

I don't think it's against Flippa's terms. You can't use their site to make private deals, but I'm sure you can sell your site off-site, if they didn't get you the sale.

Sellers may not list an item for sale via any other channels whilst conducting an auction on Flippa.

This rule eliminates the possibility of an item being sold to two different buyers in two different channels, which would violate the legally binding nature of Flippa auctions.
