Very nice sample site, but I assume it's much more developed than the basic site offered. How much of the site can be modified? Do you set up the affiliate ads? What if I want to use Amazon products?

The basic site would include the home page and another article? Would there be placeholders for the different categories, other blocks, video and top menu bar that you have on the sample site?

Could you replace an html site that I already have with a WordPress site like you have created. (I'm assuming this is in WP.)
