I spent $2242 on Google Adwords promoting my site Kalkie - Work at Home, Work From Home, Online Jobs, VC Funding, Venture Capital Funding but zero zilch sifar sales. I spent $5 on Adhitz ads and it netted me a total of $62. Chitika Adbrite also sucks. The three best ways of driving traffic is infolinks, adhitz and adf.ly

Thanks

  • I'm not going to say Adwords suck but one of their sales reps told me to pay $9 a click on debt relief related keywords. Yeah right

Wow, that is really cheap for that niche. I had no idea that the prices had dropped that much for such a lucrative niche. No doubt in my mind that you can make a fortune in that niche if you can actuall purchase clicks that cheaply, especially if they are top ads on the search network.

Back when I was marketing in that niche our data showed a value per click in the range of $18- $29, and CPCs below double digits were highly profitable.

What adwords campaign ads type you chose? Display or keyword search only?

I've used google adwords to promote my site and it was very successful. I went through a company called orangesoda.com they will manage your PPC campaigns for you, the downside is that they will take a percentage of your monthly spend.

If you spend your money on SEO you will get better results than paid ads. And SEO is a long term solution.

Sorry to say OP but that site just won't convert much. If you spent that much money you should at least have put some aside for web design etc. I would go with SEO next time. You can go for some long tail keywords and rank pretty quickly. In many cases with SEO even if your site does not work out you can use some of the same resources and try something else. With PPC the money is gone and with adwords straight into Google's pocket.

I agree with you on Adhitz. I have tried and used that so much and spent so much money to get traffic, but it was nowhere targeted and led nowhere.
