How to set up Bing campaigns? It's as easy as creating a gmail account.. Have you even tried?

Is Bing ad good for quality traffic? Depending on your targeting but search traffic is always quality.

How to drive quality traffic from Bing Ads? Through their marketing platform.

How to get Cheap Clicks from Bing ads? Bing is VERY focused around quality score and CTR! Give them that and overtime with optimization, your clicks will be quite low.

Since Google doesn't play with affiliate markters. Bing is the place to go. That being said, I actually have better results direct linking to a sales page as oppose to capturing leads... I split tested multiple times with different niches and the ROI definitely works better with direct linking...

If anyone is succeeding with list building via Bing... do feel free to teach me LOL

There are some people on here that will tell you this method does not work at all. But it worked great for me back from 1999-2005 with adwords. I made very good money direct linking to the sales page. I also found that direct linking worked much better for me than linking to my own site first. But then Google started to frown at affiliates. I think most people that say it doesn't work never tried it. Of course if I would have sent them to my site first, I might have been able to build a good size mailing list, but I would have never made the sales that I did by direct linking. I think the more clicks a person has to go through, the better chance of losing the sale. I didn't realize Bing allowed direct linking, after hearing it is going well for you, I may have to create some campaigns on Bing and give it a shot.

        Exactly right.

There's still the perception that Google doesn't allow direct linking to an affiliate site. I seem to be beating a dead horse but I'll say it again. It's not that you are direct linking that's the problem, it's that the page does not follow their rules.

Bing has rules too and I say similar ones. So you run the risk of your ads being disapproved there too if the landing page is not up to their standards. I'm surprised we don't hear more of this happening. Maybe Bing is not as thorough or less people direct link using Bing. But I recommend, if Google has an objection, assume Bing and others have the same. So be careful who you link to.

My own personal experience with Bing is mainly with one major client who also uses Adwords. Good amount of traffic (about one third that of Adwords), slightly higher CPC but it's not about that, it's about ROI which is a bit higher too of course because of the CPC but still within the CPA goal. Conversion rates are similar but that's more a landing page factor, not where you advertise. Search traffic as someone said is good traffic. In all, the client gets about 30% more sales by using Bing so why would you not use it?

I haven't used adwords for a few years, but when I last used them they would only allow one ad per site. So if multiple people were advertising the same site, only one of the ads would show. And the cost per click went sky high. I used to spend in the thousands every month but I made very good money for about six years, but after their changes around 2005 it became much harder to make a profit. Don't know how much they have changed since then because I haven't been advertising there anymore.

I doubt that will ever change and for good reason. That's true on Bing too. You don't want a bunch of ads going to the same site.

Since affiliate marketers seem to have an aversion to PPC and more so to direct linking (fueled of course by the perception that you can't do it), I don't think it's much of a problem. With so many affiliate products and services out there, what are the chances that many want to promote the same affiliate product, use PPC and direct link? Very low it seems so I don't think that should be a deterrent.

Of course, if you do have even a few, the best ads will more often than not be shown. So you are not only competing against others selling similar products, you are trying to out-do those that are direct linking to the same affiliate, including possibly the affiliate owner. A steep climb but not impossible.

    *Simply register.
    *Yes it is.
*Google is focusing on money only while Bing is focusing on real user behaviour. Google makes more GUI attractive without factual data. Bing is more enhanced and better than GA. Simple neat and clean report. My all clients appreciating Bing report which I sent on monthly basis.
*This is the place you should be advertising if you want cheaper traffic that is still high quality, (meaning it will lead to more sales and conversions for your product or service).

  • I was working on getting bing to covert to Pay Per Call but can't get it to work, but I got a positive ROI on regular affiliate CPA offers via landing pages. I think it works better then advords but i"m in early stages of getting everything to work but I think it's looking promising.
