Are 1 to 5 Cent Clicks on Facebook Advertising Viable?

Hi, l recently found out that l can get 1 - 5 cent clicks on my Facebook ad!

So, instead of wasting hours going through online tutorials, l thought it best to come here for some feedback first.

It seems to good to be true, so naturally l thought there must be a catch?

I know that if l have an ad, that goes to my offer or affiliate offer, Facebook might slam me, or my account!

But sending traffic to a squeeze page on Facebook, then sending them to some OTO's seems to be the only way to advertise and not get clobbered?

Love some feedback!

And can l really get a 1% conversion on 100 people going through my OTO, offers for Wordpress, after signing up, instead of Adwords which doensn't allow a squeeze page, and costs $500 for 100 visitors and 1% conversion?

Or Bing that doesn't convert at all for 100 visitors!

One to five cent clicks are possible in a number of niches, but it takes having a hot product that's targeted to a market that's hungry for it. Ten to twenty cent clicks are probably a more realistic target for most people.

Right so if l spent $20 on a facebook ad, and sent it to the WSO below, (the WP one, converts at 3%) then it would most likely make a profit!

Assuming that FB traffic converts at 3% with 100 visitors?

I have tried this with Adwords at least til l realised that it would cost $500 for 100 visitors! $45 profit, minus shopping cart fees, plus some backend profits is what l have to stay within!

So Adwords is next to useless, not sure about Bing, but it has never converted for me, but maybe it takes more than 100 visitors?

To be completely honest with you, I have no clue how a Wordpress Under Construction App would convert. It's so far off from the niches I normally target that it would be like comparing apples to basketballs.

There's only one way to find out. Create a handful of ads, target them to people who are likely to need your app and test them to see how they convert on Facebook.

Right so FB traffic is better for iphone apps, since the traffic is social and doesn't want to buy, at least not right away?

I have gotten clicks in that price range, but they will mostly be in third world countries and the traffic will be hard to monetize.
