Help with Voluum Tracking

Hi guys,

I am new here and new to affiliate marketing.

Had just successfully set up tracking on Voluum and launched my first ever PPC campaign with 7Search. Not expecting a huge return, but would rather use my loss to learn how to track properly with Voluum.

I've read a guide from Luke (Thanks Luke for the awesome guide, if by chance you saw this), that we need to blacklist for non performing SubIDs from 7Search.

Theoretically I understand what is it all about - filtering out the clicks coming from the same website ID, same IP, non converting, different countries, etc. Thing is, with Voluum's data, I can't really tell which Visits are coming from unique visitors. Or maybe I do not know where to look for, I don't know.

Here's the Screenshot of my tracker. Ran the trial ad for a day and saw some clicks for AFFID and RID that are repeating itself. However without knowing whether if they're unique visitors I wouldn't be sure whether to blacklist them or not.
Anyone could help me on this? Thanks, appreciate it!

I would group by IP with your other variables. This way you will see what duplicate IPs and where they are coming from.

And I don't think you have enough data to black list anything yet. Is your postback URL set correctly?

    Hey thanks crams.

But i don't think I can group it by IP and other variables. When IP is selected the other selections become greyed out. Screenshot below:

Yeah I do agree I don't have any data to black list anything yet. Thought I'd ask this earlier on so I can act immediately when I have like 3-4 days worth of data. Today is only the 2nd day of the campaign running.. $10 down with only 1 conversion. The postback URL is correct.

I guess you will need to find another way to get your stats. Volumm looks to be soo restricted. I wonder if you must be their 1k monthly users to get the ability to group by IP with multiple.

I've complained about their plans and data retention.

I'm glad I stuck with imobitrax and bevo, I'm able to group IP with multiple variables, lifetime data retention(bevo free) and download all my click data to be able to analyse data manually.

    Hi crams,

The guys over at Voluum have informed me that "they're unable to get that data at the moment".

Voluum looks quite customizable but maybe my understanding of the platform is just too shallow. Or maybe 7Search is out of their league or something. Don't think blacklisting SubIDs is required for other traffic sources? Just making a guess.

Anyway, back to the topic, I've already subscribed to the Pro version of Voluum so I was hoping that I could use it for my campaigns. Looking for another way to get the stats will let this investment go down the drain. Was hoping to avoid that. But seems like I have no other choice.

Well I'm sorry to hear that they don't supply you with data you need.

Again Im glad I don't run traffic with them. Its nice to track mobile data but when it comes to analyzing data you need, really conflicts with your investment.

Paying for such a restricted tracker just seems unjustified. How will you ever see your stats from a year ago with them? you will not, unless you paid them 1k. They say the still keep your data but doesn't allow your to view it.

Get a tracker with less restrictions.
