Hey Guys..
I was running some skin care offers with fb traffic just need to know is this really matter when different networks says that run our offer we have 5% EPC or 20% CTR rate something like that is that really matter ??

or just the payout of the offer??

Thanks!

    CTR doesn't matter much.

    Always go for EPC.

But there are some EPC skewed by affiliates to make it look lower than usual to prevent more competition from crushing in.

Of course with high EPC, you get noobies pulling down the EPC too.

So don't always follow metrics and numbers if you want to succeed.

The best advice I can give you is test it yourself.

Reward always follow those who are willing to put in the hard work.

There are plenty of people with the shittiest traffic you can imagine that can bring the EPC really low for very good offers.

I don't want to further confuse you, but most of the time I don't trust it. The more experience you gain, you will start to noticing when the EPCs listed on networks do not sound logical. In such cases you will have to test it yourself.

Check the landing pages of the vendor and think why the ECP is listed as $0,09 or something in that line.

Many times there are noobs who think they can purchase 5,000 hits of "real targeted people" for $5 on fiverr just to try to convert something. Some of these people will even try with 50k hits with rubbish/bot traffic or some really shady networks that provide traffic. Also there are plenty of people who can bring good traffic, but not targeted at all. All of this will bring the EPC down

EPC (Earning Per Click) isn't measured in percent, it's measured in dollar value. e.g. $4.00 EPC

When a network says ABC Offer 1 has a $1.00 EPC, that is their network average. While this information can be helpful, it can also be misleading. Just because a offer has a low network-wide EPC, doesn't meant it's not worth trying yourself because a bunch of newbs could be driving that traffic resulting in EPC.

Also, an offer with a high EPC, doesn't mean its a good offer to run either, because a single publisher, with their own traffic source- could be a highly relevant website they own and are promoting on, which you don't have access to, could be driving all of the traffic to that offer.
