Which one will get more impressions and clicks or more effective?

I usually do not pay attention at sidebar ads, just focus on content at center of the page

How about you?

Thanks

I think people are more interested in the content on their news feed than on sidebar. I happen to be one of those. But you still have to test anyways.

Yes, definitely ads in the content get more attention from the users, people don't take interest in watching side bar ad if it is not so much interesting, we can't deny if your ads look fantastic it also get attention from side bars.

I create different ads, splitting the 2.

So it's more about which ever does better, even if I look at one less than the other

So now I think to create a fanpage, submit a post then use Facebook Ads to boost that post will be better than to create a tradditional ads

It depends the campaign, you need to test it. Any campaigns works good in newsfeed and other in sidebar. There isn't a rule to obey in this... you need to test. You can spend 5 or 10$ and check what gives you better results

      Okay I see.

Start to test Desktop News Feed to see how it is going

Its all about segmenting. Best way to know is TEST TEST & TEST.

Personally, I get 3-5% on CTR but after a 2 weeks through ad blindness you may get just 1% CTR. This where at rotation and day parting can help.

Newsfeed ads definitely have been lead to more opt in's and sales (for myself).

It depends on your purpose. If you want to save budget, you can use sidebar. News feed are more expensive than side bar but both have good conversion. You need to test your campaign
