Question about Facebook Ads campaign length

I'd like to promote either a Facebook page or a website through Facebook Ads in my local town.

It's a hobby project and I don't want to spend much money on it, so I have a fixed budget. Now, this means I have two options:

1. Try to reach as many people as possible per day, but that would eat up my budget quite fast.
2. Set a smaller reach of people per day, which will allow me to run the campaign for much longer.

Personally, I'm inclining towards option #2 because I think it has a better chance of hitting the "tipping" point, but I'm curious to see what other members here think.

I prefer #2 because with that I can see how good my campaign is going and I can edit it on time to improve my quality

Small and steady is good. Like $5-$10 an ad for a few days.

You can also try day parting. Its where you tell facebook you want to use your entire budget but online in certain times. If you can figure out when most people are the most attentive to your ad or optining in you can use those times.
