...this happens:
As a security precaution, this account has been disabled. To continue using Bing Ads, please contact Support.

Mind you, this was less than 10 minutes after I opened the account. Has this happened to anyone else?

      Rather than speculate on what the problem might be, I would suggest reading their terms of service carefully then contacting support as they have suggested. It's the only way you're really going to know what the hangup is all about.

    The support whom you are in contact with are generally personnel on the lower rungs where they make a report and fix any minor issues for you.

    If your situation are serious, they will generally call for an account specialist to review your account.

    As long as you are not breaking any rules, you should be fine.

    I am not sure if I could tell you what kind of violations call for it, but I can say their support are generally responsive and helpful if you are not trying to game their system.

    hmm ... I've noticed this happens when

    A: You buy a fake advertising coupon
    B: You keep creating new accounts and taking advantage of new sign up coupon

    Yeah, I used the $100 credit that has been in my Godaddy account for a while. That's probably it.

    I had this very problem and its due to an editorial review.

    I ran a couple of campaigns, including my "lucky" one lol, and no prob then all of a sudden I got the disabled message.

    I emailed support via the Bing online form. Got a response within 24 hours saying it was disabled so they could do an editorial review. They said they found no issues and immediately reopened it.

    I wouldnt be too worried about it tbh, just standard checks I guess and I welcome them. Weeds out the guys trying to cut corners and do thinks slightly "blackhattedly" lol

      The only thing I can think of is the line I highlighted in red really means that they preferred I didn't use the $100 coupon I had. Yes, it was a legitimate coupon from my GoDaddy account. Oh well, screw 'em.

        I don't really think coupon is an issue if it is legitimate.

        I have 100+ customers using the coupon in my wso and no one has raise this issue yet.

    Never had the same issue. Was your account new? What kind of primary payment method did you setup before using the coupon?

    BTW you can use up to $500 worth of coupons for the same account. I have tested this.

    I have had this happen also What I did was call support and they will usually send it to a account specialist to review your account. I got reopened in under 12 hours. I also recommend you include a privacy policy on the page you put into the destination url when creating your ad

      hey i had the same problem but what I got told is that bing does random spot and security on all there accounts to make sure nothing is going on. there support is excellent and I got my account re instated in a couple hours

    But in my case my account was inactive for a month.
    Try to contact them and read their policy to prevent your account from being banned again.

    Once account is disabled, its very difficult to enable it. Still contact support and see what they have to say. If you don't get success, then simply go for new account. It's that easy.
