Is Adwords PPC worth it for Youtube?

I am trying to grow my youtube channel, does anyone have advice? I have used the best keywords I can think of, thumbnails etc. Is the Adwords pay-per-click advertising worth it considering youtube takes a big cut?

  I tried to sign up to it through youtube and it said e.g. 5 GBP would get 3000 ad impressions, but when I went on the adwords website the amount you get for the money is much less?

  Is the you tube account connected to the normal google adwords account because mine got banned many years ago. Maybe I should look at opening a new one

I think that if you are trying to increase brand awareness that would be good to put your logo on the thumbnail and then everyone could see your logo and it shall be in their mind. You could do a lot with a good thumbnail also the click is really expensive would not recommend. I have 200% ROI with this + it increases with my email list I get from them I have 70% opt- in my ROI is around 400%

  Please don't get discouraged, marketing is a process, not a one-time event. Your first couple weeks of advertising on AdWords will typically be the worst 2 weeks of your campaign. What I mean to say is that a properly managed campaign goes through cycles of gathering data, and optimization based on the insights gained from each cycle of testing. There are many things you can do to lower the cost, and improve the performance of your AdWords for video campaigns.
