Getting Google Products To Give More Impressions?

Hey all,
I've put a store's inventory up on Google Shopping (Google Products) and have written quality descriptions and titles for everything. Its been almost a week though, and nothing has seen very many impressions. My normal Adwords gets thousands and thousands per day, yet shopping is like 20 impressions total.
Do any of you have experience with Google Products and know why they are giving me so few impressions. Does it just take time, similar to how Adwords works? Or might this be a symptom of my bidding?
Ideas?
