Bing or Facebook? What should I do?

I would like to ask everyone if I should stick with Bing or move over to Facebook traffic? I dont necessarily want to quit Bing or give up. I am just looking for an opinion on what I should focus more on. I have a limited budget at the moment so that is also a factor.

If your budget is limited I'd stay with Bing. Make sure you choose these two options while creating your campaign:

    1. Show ads to people in your targeted location (under the Advanced location option)
    2. Use the Bing and Yahoo! search (owned and operated) only option (under Ad distribution.)

Refrain from choosing the "search partners" option in "Ad distribution", as it will send irrelevant traffic to your site(s) and eat up your budget.

I tried FB advertising in the past and I thought it was way, way too expensive. Some people swear by it, though. I think FB advertising works well for the entertainment industry and such. One person told me that he gets more signups on his dating sites from FB than from anywhere else.

Facebook is higher up in the sales funnel, even without the fraud mentioned above. That means it's harder to convert.

My rule of thumb: Use Facebook to advertise content you think will go viral. Use Bing if you're trying to sell stuff.

That's because with Bing you can target keywords that are used by people who clearly want to buy something (e.g., "discount sweaters"). That will increase your likelihood of conversion.

If you have already been working with Bing, I think you should continue working with them. Is there any reason why you are thinking of switching?

Bing is a little more newbie friendly when it comes to having a limited budget...

    Keep chippin' away.

With Bing, the users are actively searching for something whereas with FB, you are showing ads into their faces. Therefore the conversion rate is likely to be higher with Bing. If you are having success and Bing and want to scale up, I would look at Adwords. However, you must be sure that your promotion is acceptable. Clickbank and CPA offers are very risky with Adwords.

    Bing.

Facebook does not seems like what it was before, facebook often have their policy changed, and the ads doesn't work like how it was before. If you're trying to spend money on facebook, I did say spend it wisely, you can hardly generate any profit if you're ads are not under media content.

Bing drives search traffic and Facebook drives social traffic. You can check Facebook traffic and see the conversion rates or any of your end goal. Then compare with Bing and see which deliver better results.

Actually, the facebook fraud mentioned above has nothing to do with you or your business as long as you don't buy likes so I think you should be good. Facebook is great when it comes to advertising getting your name out there as well as finding new audience and it really shouldn't be thrown away easily. I'd say you go with both.

Did you view the entire video? It's my understanding that buying Facebook ads has the same detrimental effect, for the same reasons.

I think Bing it's easier if you are starting out with paid traffic with bing ads interface you can get familiar pretty quick and you can test-it with low budget, with Facebook you can get way more volume of traffic then you will get with Bing and it take a while to split test and spent higher budget before you can find profitable campaign, FB work best if you want to build the list but you are more niche and landing page restricted with FB then with Bing ...

If you don't even know what you want or what you are doing, even a big budget isn't going to help; much less a limited budget.

Since you have some success with Bing, keep focusing on it and master it before moving to the next traffic platform.
