Hi,

I work for a non-profit and we have a good PPC budget but I want to make an exit pop-up to catch email submits to our newsletter.

Is that against Google Adwords terms?

Thanks in advance.

    What's the policy?
Google AdWords doesn't allow pop-ups to appear when users enter or leave your landing page. We consider a pop-up to be any window, regardless of content, that opens in addition to the original window.
We've created this policy to provide a positive experience for our users.

Yes Ofcourse that is against Google Terms as below

According to the AdWords Editorial Guidelines, "We do not allow links to landing pages that generate pop-ups when users enter or leave your landing page. We consider a pop-up to be any window, regardless of content, that opens in addition to the original window."

  • Yes, it's against Adwords' Advertising Policies and having them on your landing pages will lead to get your ads disapproved and your account becoming suspended for many disapproved ads.
