As the question states,

How many hops per sale would you consider a good converting product?

1 out of 100 hops = sale?

    For a promo to my customers...

    On the FE I'm content with at least a 30% conversion.

    For cold traffic...

    Anything that puts and keeps me in the green

    1 sale out of 100 hops is a 1% conversion rate. As a strong program I would think 2% to 4% sales would be a good converting product. Although I have made sales and have had a much higher conversion rate like 20 to 30%.

    The main goal is to make sure your profit is greater than the costs to sell the products also so you don't lose money.

    IMO this isn't really enough information to answer. I try to look at the bigger picture and examine the costs per click, earnings per click, etc.

    if your ads are converting anywhere near 30% then you are good. but i will suggest you use a lander if you re not already using one.
