Hello All,

I am here seeking for help regarding Google Analytics for chinese market.
We all know a fact that there is an issue going on between China and Google (for a long time now) and it greatly affects google products including google analytics. So, for some of you here that are targeting chinese market and using google analytics for traffic monitoring before, is there any alternatives you can suggest that I can use for free?

I've made some test a few days and I really believe that there is an inaccuracy with the data given by Google analytics. I hope you can share some tools, most especially those who have experienced the same problem as mine.

Thank you!

    You are right.

First of all any site featuring Google Analytics or Google API (including fonts) either will not load or is delayed from loading because anything to do with Google is blocked in China. So, obviously, you won't see any stats coming back from China viewers/readers.

Secondly any site which mentions the word 'blog' in it is automatically blocked. Naturally that includes blogger sites, but also Wordpress.com hosted sites. Thankfully Wordpress hosted on your own domain is not blocked.

As for what else you can use, it depends on whether you are running html or WP. Most of the WP plugin stats packages seem to work but I'm not sure about Jetpack as that calls back to Wordpress.com.

Yikes! Seems like a lot of work.
Anyway, I am not running a WP site. It is an online gaming site.
I really would love to hear from anyone here based on their experience.
Thanks for the information though @MisterY
