Does Facebook Ads have any say over what you promote to your Email list After you get Opt Ins?

Perhaps a silly question, wondering the same with Facebook and Adwords.

Say Facebook doesn't accept a certain website, like a casual dating site, for instance.

If I post a landing page that is 1000% in compliance, get opt ins from people who may generally be interested in casual dating site, and promote the casual dating site to them in say the 4th email or so, can / would facebook have any issue with this?

Let's even say I wanted to promote something like porn, could the person who opted into the list go back and report to Facebook and get my ad account banned?

Facebook is the most finicky company I have ever dealt with online. They don't have clear rules and they will ban you FOREVER at even one sniff of something they don't like.

I don't want to piss these people off... Under the above scenario, is there even a remote chance Facebook can say something to me once I already have the users in my Email List?

I have the same question about Adwords, if anyone can answer that also.

It's unlikely they would have any input on your email output, but if they felt the user experience was being tampered with I'm sure they could take action.

      Yea, thanks.

The offers I would be sending to the list would still be targeted and something they would be interested in, it's just that Facebook is so mainstream, the hint of anything remotely not "universally accepted" they just don't allow at all.

But thanks. Looking for other input.

No, they can't say anything once opted in to you. On their network, they can control what you put out, but once on your list, they're yours to promote. Just in general, never want to spam or send unrelated offers to what someone opted in too, but whatever you choose, it's your choice.

      Hey buddy,

      Thanks.

And true, I understand. Those who opt in will definitely have interest, as sending unrelated offers would be worthless.

      Thanks again
