Then use Google AdWords Keyword Planner for calibrating.

You really have to be interested in what you are going to be selling. You will spend a lot of time with it, you will talk about it, write about it, talk to people who care about it.

I know from personal experience that if you don't care about whatever it is, you won't want to spend time with it or talk to the people who care about it.

People buy from those who are excited about and clearly care about the product/service they are selling, and care about the success of their customers. AND they buy from those who present a clear solution to their pressing problem.

It depends on which categories of content you are expert in. To get more traffic, specially instant traffic you need more contents, more marketing skills need huge time or huge investment.

I would like to add some info that I've learned after 8 years in internet marketing...

Here's My 5 Simple Steps to Success for new marketers:

1. Find your niche - this is where you started, right?
a. write a list of your hobbies and skills
b. review your emails for any time that you gave a friend or family member instructions on how to do something
c. go back through any journals you may have so see common themes
d. look at your magazines - issues bought individually or subscriptions, these are your interests, right?

2. Find products for sale in your niche - clickbank, wso, amazon, etc.

3. Build a blog -
go share your thoughts and knowledge on a topic with your blog. Keep it focused on your topic.
Use keywords for that niche/sub niche in the titles of your posts -
Example - if there are 60 keywords for, say, dirt bike repairs then you should have 60 posts on your blog, each focused on one of the 60 keywords.
Find PLR or ezine articles if you need help writing, these will provide inspiration for you. put things in your own words and always check for
uniqueness of your content before posting. Search the forum for "unique content" if you need help

4. Build a list - get an autoresponder and start building a niche - you will find many helpful posts on this topic. But make sure to check out YouTube. Get

Response has an amazing tutorial about the whole process of listbuilding. It really should be viewed by all.

5. Create your own products - once you have spent some time with your blog, you will come to think of ideas for your own products. Remember that list of emails i had you start where you gave tips or instructions, these are your products, right?

Go for what is in demand today, and not for what interest you. If, say you have interest in hockey but if this niche does not have enough user interest and buyer demand, then you will not do good despite of your best efforts. So go for popular niches which are always in demand. Some of them are:

Hi, look for something that interests you. Check out Amazon Bestsellers to see where people are spending their money. You want to choose a Niche where people are prepared to spend money for information. Also. check out Clickbank but look for a product that has a gravity of at least 10, this means there is people buying this product anything lower is no good!

Well. WordPress Blogging tutorials is the niche which is most searched and still lacking in quality writers. So my recommendation is to hit this niche.

I would say insurance, loans and real estate are your best target markets I think. I don't like to call them niches though as a niche implies there's not much action happening
