Hi guys

I am new to PPC, I have done some reading online and have started a campaign on a product which I sell myself and I would love some feedback from you guys, as I don't have the experience to gauge myself against what is a good campaign and what is not.

Here are the results:

My Process for this campaign was as follows:

1. I ran 5 different ads with 5 different titles, all other variables I kept the same.
2. Chose best title CTR, and created 10 ads with different images.
3. Narrowed down 10 ads to 1 based on CTR
4. Ran best image with best Title based on CTR for a day.
The above image is based on this final add.

During the whole process I only received one sale.

Seems I have no problem getting clicks to my webpage but something tells me my landing page or my product stops sales.

My landing page is:

Melanotan II South-Africa Tanning Nasal Spray

Please guys, I would love your expertise on this to help identify my problem, I don't understand why I am not getting more sales.

Another issue I am having is that is seems that FB ads pixel tool is not working correctly.

Here it shows that people have been checking out with the product, but for some weird reason they don't seem to be clicking the final pay button.
and here as seen below, the conversion are not showing on my ad manager, I have placed the pixel code in the checkout page but nothing, I even placed the code on my home page just to test it but still nothing.

I know it must be frustrating to answer stupid question to newbies, but I would really value any ones advise on here.

Thanks for your time, looking forward to making a contribution in this forum.

I placed the conversion pixel in the checkout page, I also placed it on the home page just to test it but even though it shows up as active it still doesn't come up with any convertions.

For every 10 Teespring Campaigns I launch, I'll be lucky if one gives me a profit.

Split test images, call to actions, products, etc but after all that if it still fails, just ditch the product and choose something else.

Not every product can be made profitable.

    Hello,
Your Timeline must be super nice, and place your ads the right way, or your conversion rate will be low.

    Now Try this, Split Testing

Try Post Engagement ads, test it, don't spend much on testing , like $100.00 or less

Now if your product is just not what people want, then stop using it and find something else.

Run Four ads, each ad with different ad picture, and landing page, this way you can see which one is getting more likes, share, and Post Engagement.

Run Ads on YouTube that link back to offer on FB landing page, you will also get more likes,

Also place more post on the new FB Timeline, must look busy, or they wont stay on it, once you get over 1000 likes your post will do much better, so hope this helps you.

    Sent PM to you

    Thank you
    MWD

One thing I don't see man is the ad using?

Also, should be at least testing 2 ads and noticed had one campaign and one ad.

When check out your site, see it's nasal spray as well so i would make sure your ad has something about that in there as well.

It will for sure cut your clicks from people, yet more targeted clicks coming your way because a lot of the people who do like to tan, would never use a nasal spray to do so.

Thanks Fasteasy, of course..didn't think of it that way, was probably focusing too much on trying to get clicks instead of focused clicks. Will specify its Nasal Spray and come back here with the results. Sales did pick up for a week after the add campaign was used, but there's no way of me actually pinpointing that it was the ad campaign that contributed it. Would FB ads still register it as a conversion if someone found my ad on FB, visited my site, then came back to the site to buy a few days later? Or is there another way I can track this?

There may be various reasons why people are not interested in buying like...

    1. You are not targeting the right niche.

    2. Your landing page has major flaws, Let me give you a quick proofread-

    i) No lead capturing system
ii) The first thing on the page is shouting FREE SHIPPING IN SOUTH AFRICA,
ADD TO CART, but why should someone buy from you when he/she is not sure what
is it, how it works, how it has worked for others (testimonial), are you a legit vendor
or not. See, people have the natural instinct of doubting new things build trust and show
how you are different than others (Any freebies/ bonus with your package)?

    3. You might be launching the campaign in the wrong time according to the geography you chose.

    4. It seems you have a major problem with the UI & UX in your web page, make it more professionals, choose colours which enhances trust factor of your website (psychology of colour), The “add to cart" and straps are all in orange colour, You should differentiate the
“add to cart” button by using some call to action colours.

    5. Your shopping cart is too long to fill up, people might get frustrated filling every details, use a simple method (Give them more options to pay, make it easier for your customer)

    6. Also it depends on the technical aspects like how much time your page or the video
is taking to load (open or buffer) , how much traffic it can handle at a time, so on and so forth. Because the slower is the buffer/loading time, the more is the bounce rate of your page, and hence LOW sales or NO sales.

    ADDITIONAL:
You cannot just force people to read or see your video, People are not interested until and unless the first 5 seconds of your content (headline/sub-headlines) or the first 5 seconds of the starting of your video catches their attention and intrigues them to view/read more.
For me I guess best way is capturing their interest first (within 5 seconds) )and then when
their brain are opens enough to grasp things, bow your seed of information

I am saying this all with my experience, I am not ashamed to admit, I've failed quite a lot of times but I didn't lose hope and kept on believing on my product. There will be times you want to quit Buddy, but failure is just a mindset, only Quitting is failure.

    Best Wishes

      You guys are awesome

I brushed up my advert making it very specific to buyers only, I fixed up the website making it a lot simpler for people (added a video) and boom, I had my first $100 in profit day today, I know it may not be a lot to most of you guys, buts its a huge milestone for me, feels good when ad campaigns finally start working out.
      Here are the results:

Ok so now that I think I have got a winning campaign, how do I go about up scaling it? I have doubled the daily budget, is there anything else I can do?

Your site and your ad need to look similar -- if you are selling people in the sun on facebook -- you cant send them to a text heavy site that uses big words.

Now that you have traffic -- turn your attention to redeisgning your site for CRO.
