Bingads Quality Score Question

I have a question regarding Bingads quality score. Specifically my ad relevance. My ad relevance is poor, even though my CTR is high. My expected CTR is good, landing page experience is good so only ad relevance portion of the QS needs to be improved. Not really sure what ad relevance is related to. I'd appreciate input from someone with experience. Thanks.

Not quite what I was looking for. I need someone with actual practical experience to chime in.

It never ceases to amaze me that people come on here asking questions about bing and google, insist on ignoring the answers given to them directly by bing or google, and then wonder why they are not getting anywhere.

I have 4 years of experience running ads on bing and can tell you that the best way to improve your quality score is to listen to what bing is telling you to do.

I've been using Bing for quite a while too. All my other campaigns have quality scores of 9 or 10. That is why I am trying to dig deeper and see in more detail how they are actually analyzing their QS. My LP is flawless as always, ads are relevant and CTR is higher than competition's according to Bing's own data. Yet I am paying double of what the competition is paying - again according to their own data.

You Ad relevance is should be good enough to run any ad, then only you will earn out the ad.

  • The main metric, as you know, is QS. In both Bing Ads and Google Adwords, QS is a measure of how well your ads are doing click rate wise against competitors. You may think your CTR is high but you don't know what it is for competitors. That's what QS is telling you and taking into account other factors such as ad position.

If you have QS in the 8 to 10 range, I would not worry very much about much else that they report. Ad relevance sounds like it should be tied to CTR and thus QS but maybe not. Is your keyword in your ad? If not, it may be the reason for poor ad relevance although, if you are getting good QS and good results, I would not worry about it. Don't pay attention to it, just on results and the major metrics to pay most attention to are CTR/QS, conversions and cost per conversion.
