Hello All,

I'm trying to drive some traffic with Bing ads but I do not seem to be getting any clicks. I'm not sure what the problem is... Is there a good course out there? I prefer free but I don't mind paying if it is great and not just some junk WSO someone is marketing to make a buck.

In particular, I'm trying to make some money by selling Amazon affiliate products with Bing Ads. I'm struggling with titles that will get people to click on them. I've tried:

Beginner Drum Kits!
Starter Drum Packages!
Start Drums Today!

Nobody seems to click on them. What are better titles that people will actually click on?

Thanks

There are your 1st two lines you could test.

They don't want to learn to play the drums, they want to be rock stars.

      hey there

I have found that using a question mark in your title yields a good click through rate. Asking a question in your title will arouse curiosity to know more! I have also found that using numbers works very well also. You will need to read the TOS of the ad guidelines, but I have found this example to be great :-

      #1 Weight Loss Solution

This is just an example to show you the use of numbers. You want to try and include a benefit to the customers problem in the headline, most people decide if they want to click from the headline!!

  • Obviously you are selling drum kits. It is better to have the keyword in the title since it is in slightly bigger size and bolded which attracts the eye and makes more people click the ad.

I don't know your keywords but assume "drum kit(s)". Best to have phrase and exact matches. A potential problem is that you are advertising "Beginner Drum Kits!" and, unless your keywords are more targeted such as "beginner drum kits", those not looking for that will not click. Think Ringo Starr will click your ad when he sees "beginner"?

You can't have a ! in the title by the way so this will be rejected and you are using a ! on each line which is excessive and will also be rejected.

The suggestion of "Rock Star Drummers Start Here!" is good except it has a ! and is too long. But do think along those lines for a title. A question sometimes works good but I've moved away from that a while ago. Doesn't mean you can't try.

A key are your description lines. You need to attract their attention and have an offer they can't refuse (to click on your ad to find out more on your page). Every one says low prices but people don't typically buy on price. You just have to find out what your prospects want. Believe me, if you can promise something you can deliver, unique and that no one advertises (can you make them rock stars?), they will flock to you. Two words: pre sell. Or should that be one word?

Make it shorter and leave the "!", that will probably help a bit.
