What is your average cost per click for Facebook ads?

So I finally took action and started some small-scale Facebook ads.

I am prelaunching my book as I write it and my goal is to get interested leads.

My question to you is what is your average cost-per-click (or cost-per-action) for your ads?

What I am doing is writing a normal post on my page, boosting it, and then selecting the 'optimize for clicks' option. The link inside my post would go to my squeeze page.

Seriously? I can see in all of your posts, you are referring people to that link. Work on your grammar though bud.

    • Whatever answer you get, pleeeeease don't use that
as a factor to kill your campaigns just because your numbers
      are highers than others.

Thanks for the advice. I guess a better metric to worry about is cost-per-subscriber. I hope to keep that under $1.

Remember that at the end of the day what it matters is your profits.
That should be the primary focus.

But yes, cost per subscriber should be the metric for you if you want
          to do listbuilding.

          Say...

You have 2 ad sets -

          1- 150 clicks at .10 and 30 leads
          2- 100 clicks at .80 and 60 leads

Second ad set is more expensive yet it bring
more leads, so don't kill the ad sets just because
the CPC is too expensive, not all clicks are good clicks :-)

Usually, the cost goes from some cents all the way up to 3-5
bucks at average, at least from what I've seen.

But if it is too expensive, you can always optimize your ad or
start with website clicks, build the pixel data and then move to
website conversions and then properly optimize
