Website & Adsense: What is considered "average" daily page views and earnings?

I have a website that has been up for 22 days that is attached to a very popular Reddit post. Within a few days, I had almost 200k views (before I added AdSense ), but it's since leveled out to around ~2500 page views per day. I think that number will hold steady for the next month at least, then depending on the near-immediate future either jump up considerably or hit the dirt.

Meantime, as I said, I average ~2500 page views a day and have 2 AdSense banners on the homepage, at least 1 AdSense banner on the popular pages and a growing list of RSS-fed articles each with a banner - the site grows by 3 pages per day which equates (or will equate) to A LOT of ad banners.

I'm seeing around $1.50-$2.50 per day earned, which seems REALLY LOW to me, however this is my first rodeo with seriously doing AdSense.

Is this an average? Low? High? Any input would be nice.

    Hi PBMax,

There are a few factors determining the CPC.

One of the major factors is your site.

Has your site been around for a while?

Does it have a high DA or PA?

    This will influence your CPC.

Have you gone over your main content on your site and had a look at the keywords your are targeting against the CPC in keyword planner?

Generally, the value of social sharing content CPC tends to be lower than organic traffic.

Moving forward, try and rework your content and take a look at my thread so you can make adjustments to your content with keywords and content structure.
