I'm getting great leads for $0.25 on Facebook. Is that normal?

I'm new to paid traffic in general, but I have been getting relevant leads from "buyer" countries (US, UK, Canada, etc) for only $0.25 a pop.

Is this normal to what you traditionally pay? Basically, I'm pre-launching a book in a DIY niche and I send the Facebook traffic to a squeeze page.

Depending on the average check, but I believe it is really good. If optimizied, you can get even lower CPC.

Yeah, that's a great result! It means you've targeted your ads really well and made the ad creatives really compelling. Well done!

Now you can retarget them with ads to your book once you release it!

When you say leads, do you mean clicks, or signups after the click?

What really important is the cost per subscriber.
It is necessary to test how responsive your leads are..

That is better than most people, try to get your cpc as low as you can and your CTR as high as you can!! You also want to track your conversions through your funnel...you seem to be on the right track so well done!!

My cost-per-sub is $0.25. I wasn't talking about cpc, haha.

Traffic sources? Facebook ads of course, lol. As for techniques, since I'm in a DIY niche, I took a picture of a project I was working on. Then the ad basically said "I am writing a book on building XYZ. Make sure to sign up for updates."

Yeah it is normal however you can reduce the cost with a great research work and you can boost the posts on FB for more cheaper results.

      you're asking the wrong questions.

25 cents a lead could be great or it could be terrible.. What matters is, are you making money from it?

even if you could build a list and get leads for 3 cents each.. if nobody on that list buys anything from you.. then that list is worthless lol

buuuut.. getting leads for $100 each could be the deal of the century ( if those are asbestos lawyer leads and you're making $10k each)

      so it's all about perspective.

focus on your ROI. (return on investment)
that's all that matters. everything else is just vanity

Have you ever seen the movie Glengarry Glen Ross? My leads are like those golden leads that everyone wants to get and eventually tries to steal

I've got people begging me to take preorders and my Facebook page seems to get great engagement for its size.

Normal, no. Cheap, yes. You could improve with optimization and testing as well as boosting similar copy to get more use of budget.

Kudos, you're on the right track.

Thanks Mark! I definitely have to do more split testing. That's something I've been avoiding for no reason.

0.25$ is too much if you use Custom UID in "Power Editor" in facebook advertising system
click should be between 0.03 and 0.01 even from first tier countries : USA, Canada, UK

      I'm not talking about cost-per-click. I'm talking about cost-per-lead.

Maybe you may try to take a look of what are others paid for the price relevant to your market.
