Hi

I've spent a good amount of time studying this and decided to try a few campaigns on BingAds.

At the end of the first week, I have zero conversions, but think the CTR and Quality Scores are generally ok.

Anyone have any comments to help please? would be much appreciated

You don't have that much data to go on.

What's the offer payout? That's going to influence how much you spend and how long you let your campaign run for.

If you are getting $40 a conversion then you'll need to spend 2-3x that or more to see if you have any life in your campaign.

Also take a look at the dimensions tab, what's actually triggering your click throughs? You might find out it's just a bunch of tire kickers who are curious instead of people at the buying stage. You'll want to start adding keywords to your negative keywords list to filter out these people.

You should run/manage search & content campaigns separately. The net result is better return on ad spend, and you will have better bidding, budgeting, and targeting flexibility.

The CTRs look good. I don't understand how you could get 0.02 per click when the minimum bid is 0.05

  • Don't mix search and content. I don't know what you're selling or what your goal is but search is generally better.

What your ads say can go a long way to clickers to convert. So will your landing page obviously. Your page may be the one not doing its job.

Good QS so you are on the right path. Note that QS is only calculated for search. Content quality is a totally different thing and not related to search QS.

I would increase bid so that you get higher position and more clicks and more conversions, especially on that first one where you pay only $0.02

I'm only seeing a small part of the picture but these are my recommendations.

Well, without knowing how many clicks came from Content vs Search it's hard to comment. If you have 66 clicks from Search and 0 conversions, that would certainly be a concerning trend. I would recommend tuning off content. If you have a reason you think the content network will convert or simply want to test the network, create a separate campaign from Search solely for the content network.

Main points that others already stated:

    1) It's not just search clicks but also content network.

    2) Spending 8$ with no conversions is nothing to be worried about if conversions are actually something that you earn a lot from. If they're email opt-ins then something is most likely wrong.

I would suggest you check your key words. Only use buyer keywords. Bing will constantly be suggesting you add more keywords but using a limited number of keywords will work better IMO.

Such as abc for sale, buy abc, best deal abc, etc. Yhos will the be words searched for by folks who want to buy.

$7 is not nearly enough Data to make any conclusions what so ever.

We need more information to be able to give you any worthwhile suggestions...

How much is the offer you are promoting....Is it a paid offer or a CPA Free offer. What country is the offer for, what demographics are you targeting. Have you gone through the full process of the offer yourself and made sure its actually a good offer to promote.

You need to put yourself in the shoes of the user and try to envision yourself clicking on the ad.....would you end up going through with the process to generate a conversion.

Are you using a landing page or direct linking?

There is a lot that goes into it, and showing just a basic screenshot like that won't be able to draw you any help.

Check your ad copies and make sure you are attracting the right type of people to click.

Add more keywords, and make sure they are keywords that going to initiate a conversion and not just random keywords on the topic.

6% CTR on the one with 49 clicks is good...so you might want to check your offer and consider how easy it is to complete or maybe consider a new offer all together.
