I am trying to promote some hosting program with ppc. But I couldn't figure out how to track which keyword will convert. Any clue?

    Hi awledd,

All of the major PPC platforms have conversion tracking scripts available. If you are promoting your own hosting program then just add the conversion tracking script to your thank you page.

If you are promoting some affiliate offer then you should contact the merchant and ask them to place a conversion tracking script on their thank you page for your offer. Most provide some sort of tracking id system that you can tie into. If not, you may want to consider promoting a different merchant.

Thank you deburk. But the hosting offer is not mine. Am just an affiliate. Merchants like Peerfly have options to add conversion code on thank you page or something but can' t see it here. Even if I want to use prosper202, I still need to add conversion code to the vendor's landing page, right?

      Hi awledd,

Yes, that is correct, if the merchant is not providing a way to retrieve tracking ids or utm codes then you cannot track conversions at the keyword level, unless you can secure a unique affiliate ID for each unique keyword, which is not very practical, and not permitted in most cases.

Maybe I will try creating tracking id for the highest volume keywords and see.

If your affiliate network allows callbacks, then you should be able to track keywords with a third party tracker such as Prosper202.

The hosting affiliate company I talked about does not have callback but I am also with Cpagrip and they do have callback but I don't know how to set it up. Any video is appreciated.

    CPV Lab is an option...

Then a cheaper alternative is Improvely which comes with a 14 day trial.
