Hello,
I am running a Bing PPC campaign and driving traffic to a Make Money Online Offer.

My Geo is the entire US. Has anyone experimented with running a campaign in individual states instead of the whole US. Do you think it would run better this way?

I appreciate the direction!

The key is testing and since online you don't have any geo restrictions, but you may find clicks costs less and find certain "hot spots" for your niche throughout the us, so can target those places or states.

Again, it all comes down to testing, but obviously if in one area or only certain areas and only sell to people in certain areas and not entire us, then always use geo targeting.

@fasteasysuccess. Thank you that is exactly what I was wondering. There may be certain areas with less competition or certain areas that just convert better for whatever reason. In summary, the only way to know is to test and compare results. That is exactly what I will do!

  • Try splitting it. Run 1 for the whole CONUS then the other for each state. I think try researching first which one of the states performs better. that should also a factor you should consider.

    Hi, BGH

Don't forget that you can also have all the states in your campaign but set different bid adjustments for them depending on the results. That way you can keep it all in a single campaign which is convenient but still put more or less emphasis on specific states to get the maximum ROI.

Dear BGH to have a successful Bing ads campaign, You must MUST track your entire campaign. Then look at aspects individually and optimize your campaign. This will be in the first place to know what ads are giving you conversions, in the first place what ads are receiving clicks, what is triggering your ad to show up, is it relevant or not, if not disallow those kind of terms by putting in Negative Keywords. Next is which keywords are converting, then see which states are converting, then see which times of the say there are more conversions, thats how you nature a successful bing ads campaign.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank You

Hope you have enough conversion data's to determine best and worst performing locations.
First of all, you have to check the location which has more conversions/sales.After that, you can split the best location and should focus on that location.Because each location has different marketing trends and the user behavior will be vary.
