Hello, newbie here, sorry for dumb questions. I started a PPC online course few days ago, and im at that part that you need to get approved to a CPA network. The course author says that a website is mandatory for PPC, but doesnt explain why.

I am currently struggling building my own website/blog, Im not sure what content should I publish in it, so my question: is a website really needed? If yes, why and for what? Thank you and have a nice day. By the way, I would gladly pay for mentoring/advice starting this CPA business(the basics), I am very motivated to do this but I have a lot of questions going on in my mind.

    Hi
For PPC when an Internet searcher clicks on your AD they need to be redirected somewhere for your offer which is your website, that's why you need one.

With regards to what PPC campaigns to run, that's up to you, there are lots of different niche's to research, me myself have been doing PPC finance for years and making great money but do a bit of research yourself to see what you like.

    I hope this helps

    Which course are you following?

The course author probably says a website is mandatory because having a landing page generally results in a better conversion rate than direct linking. Also, if you are building a list then having a website is necessary to be able to have an opt-in form.

Whether a website is really needed, depends on the CPA network. Some networks don't require a website and some networks do. For example, MaxBounty say that people don't require a website to become a publisher as long as they have a clear promotional strategy to promote their offers.

I think the reason why some networks require a website is because they want to have an insight into what people are doing online, so they know if they are a good fit to be a publisher for their network.
