Hi, I just would like to ask some Bing PPC and CPA experts a question if I may.
I have got 11 conversion on a little CPA offer I am running, looks not far off break even already.
I have hundreds of keywords on broad, also direct linking.
Just want to ask how many conversions you look for before you move to phrase match and start scaling?
Also my tracking link looks like this mytrackinglink.com/{querystring}{adid}{keyword}
I do not know which to use for the phrase bidding, the querystring or the keyword? Because the querystring is usually different to the keyword, sometimes its even a domain.
If you could shed some light on this it would be great.
Also how much data do I need to go with before I dump all the non converting stuff and start being more targeted?
Thanks!

I'm highly interested in this as well I am currently sitting at a spend of .10 to .50 per conversion and get around 1.30 per conversion. But I am only getting one or two conversions per day.

harder to scale on bing, but its up to your keywords. Some easier than others.

Thank you for your not particularly useful reply.

    With 10 conversions I would:
remove all the keywords that get few impressions - too much time to check them, the offer can get paused before you even know if they are prifitable or not.
All the keywords that got conversions - put in different group and try to optimize as much as possible.

and then wait for more conversions to see what's going on. Not every campaign can be scaled to 100$ a day so if you see there uis not enough traffic in the field don't sweat it, move on to something else.

      Thanks dimager

I am also told that reducing CPC is critical, and you do it by putting your converting keywords in your ad copy.

Do you have to put it in the headline, or is just in the body OK?

I am not an expert but yes - you should make your ad relevant. If you have high CTR that everything will be "excused" and you will have a low cpc even without the keywords inside.

About reducing CPC - I think the major thing is that you should build a list. From what i see today it is damn hard to make a real profit and scaling without a list so as long as you get leads at good price (it is up to you what price is good for a lead) I think it is fine.

I see guys on Facebook making obscene amounts of money without bothering to build a list, and I want to be one of them more than anything.
