If you are selling leads generated through PPC can you share a little about your model?

Are you selling the leads to local businesses or businesses that cover a wider area?

How are you packaging the leads to sell? individually or x amount per month?

Any info would be helpful.

Thanks Ron

It's not nearly as profitable as it used to be... Plus, most lead buyers want more than just double opt in leads, they want a whole host of information.

Sure - happy to chip in here.

Basically, I ONLY go into the big mainstream markets as there is usually plenty of consumer demand, lots of buyers and good profit margins. It also means there is a lot of lead volume you can generate per day. Generally speaking, I stick to anything in property, finance and legal claims. I also never go local but make sure I have a buyer who takes leads nationwide - that way I can target an entire country.

Then I simply build a website around the product to attract customers looking for a no obligation quote or to have a free chat with a financial advisor, estate agent or legal expert ... and throw traditional Adwords and BING traffic at it.

The buyer strictly pays per lead he receives and will continue to do so as long as the overall leads he gets is of high enough quality so he makes a profit ... which will be the case as the traffic quality from Adwords and BING is quite good to begin with.

That's pretty much it really. Then you simply rinse and repeat, diversify into more products and increase your overall profit.

    Hope that helps

    Thanks Nick,

Are you selling the leads directly to the end user or to some type of middleman?

I sell them directly to private networks who look directly after these very large nationwide merchants. That way I can fully concentrate on building my campaigns and don't have to worry about getting paid or doing any sorts of other admin stuff.

But I'm pretty much at the source as there's no further layers in between. This allows me to outbid most of the PPC competition and therefore gain a nice competitive advantage in the market.

    Hi Nick,

When you say 'Private Networks' are you referring to MaxBounty, Peerfly or similar?

Would you be willing to share the names of these networks?

  • I made few amount in Bing PPC, do not spend huge amount in other networks, may be you lose the amount, try with less amount.
