Hi all,

I'm curious to know how often you change your facebook ad videos/images? I have very limited "good" content that I don't want to waste all at once.

Do you recommend running them all at the same time? Or waiting til one runs for a certain amount of time then switching it? Right now my frequency is about 4.5 so I'm curious to know when to switch out the ads. Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

When I find an ad that works I usually create 5-7 variations and run one each day while cutting the non-performers. Doing it this way vs running all the variations at once has the advantage of users being desensitized to your ad due to the 5-7 day gap.

Well 4.5 frequency is very high. Is the ad still performing well? Since your audience saw your ad so many times did you get some negative feedback?

I theory if the ad is still profitable you should keep it but clone it and do minor changes like replacing the image.

I am not sure why are you limited by your images, I have never heard this from a marketer. And yes usually you test 2-4 images, all at once. You know, split test.

@adsworkshop thanks for the tip, I'm definitely going to do that to keep my content fresh. My initial strategy was to let the ad run its course and when it starts to decline in performance, I would add new content in the mix. Any thoughts on that?

@hearn I would say the frequency isn't completely accurate because I switched out content in the same ad, so the frequency is based off of other images. my ads are performing very well, no negative feedback I'm just trying to prepare for when the ads get old. Also, I would consider replacing the image not a minor change?
