I'm from India and I hired a professional (Indian)team for my website and promoting them on google adwords, youtube, facebook etc., This is the first month. My business based on consumer segment and they are now giving me 10 leads per day. I'm paying them like $150 a day and getting 10 leads, is that worth? Or is there a way to increase leads, if so what should I ask them to do ?

Please let me know.

    Hi, murrad

    Is it profitable for you to pay 15$ per lead? Do you make more than you spend? Obviously, that's the most important thing.

    Even if 10 leads per day for 150$ is profitable for you, most likely there are ways to increase leads. Talk to them and ask about possible improvements. Just remember that it doesn't usually happen instantly - a PPC specialist needs to test and try different keywords/ads/settings etc. in order to improve the results.

    Thank you.

    As this is my first month, the profit is nearly 25% and sometime less. But expecting it would go higher. I just want to make sure. They are going for GSP as well and that would pour me some traffic it seems. I will check and update here. Thanks again.

    Hi murrad,

    I'm paying them like $150 a day and getting 10 leads, is that worth?
    That's hard to say without knowing a bit more about your business. One thing is for sure, you absolutely need to know your numbers so that you can decide for yourself if that is worth it.

    The basic formula for calculating profits is as follows:

    (VPC - CPC) * C = P

    Where:
    VPC = Value Per Click
    CPC = Cost Per Click
    C = Number of Clicks
    P = Profit/Loss

    Increasing the Ratio of VPC to CPC, and/or the number of Clicks can increase your total profit.

    One thing is for certain is that since this is your first month there has not been enough time and data to have fully optimized your campaign's performance, You should expect to see a continuing trend of improving profit for the first several months, and beyond.

    The reason you do not know with certainty if you are doing well, or not, is likely due to not having a specific marketing goal. Whether you are on target, or not, toward the progressive realization of a worthwhile goal is the yardstick for measuring your performance and determines if it is good or bad.

    Ask for a meeting with your marketing team and have them set some specific, measurable, and time bound marketing goals to hit from this point forward. Once you have those goals defined, everyone will know where the target is that needs to be hit, and you and everyone else on the team can easily recognize if you are on target or not.

      Thats true - I concentrate more on leads because of money i'm spending on campaign right now. Thanks again and will check and come back.
