If not I'm not sure the numbers will pencil out; it's costing me $.30+ per click to get people to my site so I need conversions on the retargeting to be high.

8-10% is not high conversion, so if landing and baiting maintained properly. why not?

    Hi Delta223,

Sure it's not unusual to see much higher conversion rates on Remarketing campaigns.

Whether or not that is realistic for your website offer will vary a great deal depending on many factors.

Here are a few factors to consider:

How precisely are you targeting your first-touch traffic? The effectiveness of your Remarketing campaigns depends a great deal on how well targeted your audience list is.

Are you segmenting your Remarketing audience lists?

It's likely that some audience segments will convert at a higher rate than other segments. If you segment your audience list based on behaviors, using a micro conversion tracking strategy, you will be able to optimize your Remarketing campaigns to get much higher conversion rates.

Great points above, it also has a tonne to do with the type of retargeting. Are you grouping people who were at checkout with people who left after 2 seconds on your landing page? How pricey is the product and what is the CR on cold traffic? There's too many variables to give a direct answer
