it's unfortunately impossible to answer this question.
There are different quality PPC networks, there are different quality soload vendors.

Some people are also better with PPC, others better with soloads.

I think it also will depend a lot on your vertical. I found solo ads to work really well for make money niche, as people in that niche are bound to land on dozens of solo ad lists sooner or later and they get really used to reading emails. Can think of lots of verticals where solo ads won't work or you'll not even find a solo ad seller

Be very careful of Solo Ads vendors.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post this link but I wrote about soloads scamming people.

It really is difficult to say... if you find a good vendor with quality traffic for an affordable price, I would go with solo ads. They plus side on PPC, which I see, is that those people are actively clicking on ads to make money. So they are basically saying: "HEY, I WANT TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE!!". Should be a decent audience to sell MMO products right? As I tried it, I haven't had much success with PPC... but I think it can be powerful, if done right.

So basically to answer your question: I personally would go for solo ads, rather than PPC. But every opinion is different on this on

Biz-opps,affiliate offers and internet marketing products convert really well with solo ads. I don't have any experience with Pay-Per-Click marketing but I do know most PPC networks aren't big fans of the MMO or home business niche.

Make sure you're careful about choosing your solo ads providers.

Many of which are scams and many of the solo ads reviews are from other solo ad sellers.

I've always provided these three so far, as I continue to research and find new ones I will post them in the thread I wrote about solo ads reviews and testimonials.

Legitimate Solo Ads: (Stay within this list and you're safe from a scam being played on you)

        - ArcaMax (Has many lists in different niches)
        - SelfGrowth (Has one big list around self development niche)
        - MoneyMakingMommy (Smaller list and more affordable)

This guy has no experience of any kind.

Everything he writes is based on his so-called research which he says all solo ads are scams and only the companies he recommends should ever be used. Yet he has never used them before.

          Ridiculous!!!

At least I provide sources that other reputable people recommend.

While most solo ad testimonials are from other solo ad vendors.

            Who would you rather trust?

Other solo ad vendors leaving reviews for each other?

Or people like Daegan Smith or Matt Lloyd?

Both of which highly recommend the same sources. Both of which are not solo ad vendors.

Take your chances from the solo ads testimonial groups on Facebook, but that's an entire ring of solo ad vendors taking advantage of many people and they're all in on it.

            Yes, research.

Having been on the lists of Arcamax and Selfgrowth and receiving the solo ads and contacting the people behind the solo ad buyers.

Most of which have been very positive about their experience and only a couple saying they had little success but blamed it on their sales funnel.

DEMC, those people I've contacted have told me they had very poor results from that solo ad.

            So yes, research.

Finding out that many of the solo ad testimonials in the Facebook groups, ones who say they've purchased 1,000+ clicks, one guy even said he purchased 10,000 clicks.

Those big click purchases are from other solo ad vendors.

Leaving reviews for people who don't know and get caught up in the scam of solo ads.

            So yes, research.

  • The best form of advertising is when you target someone at the very moment they are in need and looking for your product. That's what PPC is, like reading someone's mind. If someone is not in need or looking for your product, there is a lesser chance of selling it which is what other types of advertising do, including solo ads. You don't run to McD's every time you see or hear their ad do you? Of course, it's also all in the delivery and even PPC ads can produce no results at all.

It's hard to find good solo ads they have great open rate, but they have low conversion. PPC is better at getting an honest view of open vs conversion. Good luck.
