    Hi Kristen,

First, what is your goal? Cheap clicks (which doesn't always mean the best traffic), conversions, sales, leads?

Second, what are you promoting? Your own product, affiliate offer or some other offer?

Third, what type of budget do you have set aside to roll with?

Fourth, do you have any type of tracking software? CPV Lab, etc?

    Hi Gregory,

I am promoting an affiliate service and have used bing ads for a few months and have had a lot of difficulty with my numbers. My ctr has been very low. I heard ctr needs to be high and above 1 and cpc is important too, and I do prefer having a low cpc if at all possible. the other issue is that I am not getting people to sign up for the affiliate service. I think I have only had 3, which is not good. I really want people to sign up with they hit the landing page for the free trial offer and then hopefully after 30 days they will start paying for the service, so I can get commissions. Also, I set my budget to $5.00 a day and I don't have any tracking software. I did try click magic, but it was too complicating for me. I have watched a lot of videos to optimize ads, however I am still not doing good. I even had one keyword that had a very low ctr and what is strange is the keyword matches the landing page, but the crt is still so low. I just feel I need more coaching or help. I really want to learn and improve. Thanks

      Hey Kristen,

Ok, so promoting an affiliate service, can you elaborate on this a little more. What does the service offer, who is it geared towards?

Issue of not getting people to sign up. What does your landing page look like, if you don't mind sharing it PM me. Are you giving people a reason to sign up with you for your service? Everyone who hits your landing page isn't going to sign up BUT know that Bing does have a retargeting tag you can put on your page that will stalk the hell out of them and when they click that ad again you don't get charge.

I'd also suggest to raise your bid to $20.00/$30.00 and if you are worried about overspending to just check your account and the clicks that come through. A good rule of thumb is, depending on the niche, to start off with about .15-.20/click on the keyword. To some it may seem like a lot but after awhile it won't. The reason I say to increase your daily spend is because bing with throttle down your traffic. If they see you only want to spend $5.00/day and I'm willing to spend $50.00-$100.00 (suggested) a day (because that's what I have my 'daily cap' at) then I'm going to get the traffic. Think of it as opening the spicket to a hose and waiting for the water to come out. You may get a burst or you may not depending upon the pressure at the other end but the point is to 'show' you have that spicket open.

Heck, you may put $100.00/day for a daily budget and only reach $10-$15.00/day in that $100.00/day spend. Make sense? There are alot of other factors involved when it comes to getting more CTR and lower CPC. It's like a science you have to fine tune.

Another useful tip is to get familary with the Bing Intellingence Keyword tool which is an excel add on. This alone is very powerful once you learn how to bend it to your will.

      Hope this helps.

PS. I'm not on the WF that much so if it takes me awhile to reply I apologize. This is my first day back after about 6-7 months.

Hi Best seller, I have tried that and I still have not been unsuccessful. I actually have run ads for 3 months and I still do not like the numbers. any resources or specific videos/books would be greatly appreciated on PPC.

    Kristen,

You can look at this link 'http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-special-offers/1030133-1-000-sold-1-updated-bing-guide-400-replies-1-1-coaching-included-newbies.html' & read the reviews before hand & ping him to see if he is still doing his 1-1 coaching. (Make sure you get his 1-1 Skype session.) He opened that for a while & that can help you.

Neil Moran is one other person very active on FB that i was aware off.

I think there was a similar question a few days. Just do a quick search on this forum And do a quick search on FB. Try to add them as friends or join their group. (Dont worry if they reject, still try and request). You can check how they are responding and then can join their programs.

Yes, Youtube is good if you have time and can take notes from each video.

Based on your responses below, my 2 cents.

Work on increasing your CTR as your first priority. Are you getting more Impressions, but less Clicks? If that is the case, you need understand why your loosing the clicks. You can fix this by checking your Quality Score and Avg Ranking. If your Quality Score is Low, fix that first and then you can increase the Rank by increasing the bid rate.

Since you are not using Tracking Software, check our the Search Term report to understand what keywords are getting you clicks. Then you can understand why are not they getting converted.

Since you are getting low CTR, check the 'Share of Voice' Report to understand when are your ads displayed and how much are your ads loosing their presence. (Since you are using 5$, Bing would distribute your ads so, you may be loosing more when you are supposed to be available).

    Hope this helps ...
