Leadgeneration with Adwords

Hi,

2-3 years ago leadgeneration with Adwords was simple and easy: run ad for a free report, optin website and I was ready to go. I used to spend between 500-1000€/month on Adwords ads...

I took a break from Adwords and it seems like a lot changed. They won`t approve my ads, ban my site and even blocked my whole account.

So what is the state of leadgeneration with Adwords in 2017?

Any links to working optinpages you can share? Or a good tutorial?

regards

Sabrina

    Hi Sabrina,

Lead generation still works on AdWords, I have many lead generation campaigns running currently. Competition levels have increased and marketers are using ever more sophisticated marketing strategies to maximize profits.

AdWords has always strictly enforced their policies. From the details of your post it seems that your latest foray into advertising on the AdWords platform included tactics that have violated one or more policies. If you committed what they call "egregious violations" then you may have been permanently banned from the platform.

If you check the email they sent you about your policy violation it will cite the policy category that you were in violation of, did you check that?

Please let us know which policy your where in violation and we may be able to help you further.

    Hi Sabrina

There has been lots of changes within the last 2 years the last one being the introduction of Expanded Text ADS giving the advertiser more AD space to catch the click. Google state in their testing it has dramatically increased CTR but i and many affiliates dont see this yet and many have switched back to Standard text ADS using the smaller space which work well, maybe its just a matter of time before it all evens out.

Not sure if sitelinks were around as well when you last ran a campaign.

Its still very profitable for the right people but a tough marketplace to crack.

All the best if you do step back in

  • It depends upon your business, according to your business you need to select/manage the campaigns. If you are choosing a campaign i.e unsuitable to your business then it might not be profitable. Apply proper bidding method and according to your business select it and start your campaign. First go with manual then enhance or else if its suitable for running CPA or Roas according to your business niche then choose it after doing proper market study.
