Hello there,

I'm running a campaign in bing ads, so i would like to know what is the recommended daily budget and how long i need to launch the campaign until i determine if it works or not?

for example i'm promoting a product review page on bing ads, how i should manage my campaign?

Thanks in advance!

On Bing ads, the default daily budget is $20.00 That is sufficient for most campaigns.

If your niche is competitive and your bidding Broad match, then you might want to increase the daily budget higher, such as $50

How long you need to run the campaign to determine if it works or not is subjective. Some people say you should run it for the amount of the payout of the product i.e. a product that has a $25 payout, run it for $25. Other people say run it for 3-5x the payout. Ultimately, the answer depends on your own budget and how confident you are that the campaign can become profitable.

It is different for every campaign. If you don't see any effect from your promotion, cancel it. Probably you are reaching wrong audience or you product doesn't fit well

  • The budget will depend on your campaign.

If you promote something for which the clicks will cost $0.25 with a search volume of 1000 per day and you expect a 5% CTR, the math says your budget should be 1000 x 0.25 x 0.05 = $12.50.

But different number will give different results. If the search volume is 200 per day and you pay $2 per click with a 10% CTR, your budget should be $40.

I always say to have a budget so you reach 100% of your prospects. If the budget should be $40 but you set at $20, you will only reach half of those searches. The point of advertising is to reach as many as possible so set the budget accordingly. In fact, I recommend adding 20% to whatever number you get to cover any overages such as a bigger search volume one day or you get a higher click rate.

As for getting no sales out of 34 clicks, there could be many reasons for that. Aside the fact that 34 clicks is too small a sample and we don't know anything about your campaign, issues may run from your keywords being too generic or simply not the right ones to your landing page doing a poor job at closing the sale.
