Rookie Question- How do I schedule my google adv

Dear warrior
This is my first time to try google adv (GDN) . As the budget is super limited ( my employer is very stingy). I am wondering if I choose week day or weekend to place my adv? and what is the good time to display it?
I have been told that 8:00pm -11:00pm is the prime time that people always surf on internet. if so, what is the date should I set ?
I am thinking, I should make a test on the first week, I set Monday to Sunday , 8pm-11pm
see the data first, and picked 1-2 days with good static. then I can focus on my budget on it.
any advice?
By the way, I am going to select 1-2 website that have high traffic as my placement setting , my product is tactical gears like uniform, bag, pouch etc. target Europe visitors.
I have contacted the website webmaster before, but they only provide generic data like daily traffic and their sponsor adv plan.
